Tiny needles are inserted into the dermis layer of the skin creating micro-trauma. Dermal fibroblasts respond by building more collagen in that area. The visual result is softening of wrinkles, face lifting, even tone and improves blood/ lymph node circulation in the skin.

From a TCM viewpoint, this procedure tonifies and lifts qi,  nourishes yin, essence and blood, strengthens digestion and helps build post-natal qi.

Reverse the signs of aging naturally.  Fine acupuncture needles are inserted into the dermis layer to stimulate collagen growth.  Additional needles are inserted to use your body's qi energy to promote circulation to the face and neck.   These protocols are custom tailored to address your areas of concern.  Each session is approximately 65-75 minutes in length and includes herbal and nutritional counseling, as well as a post-treatment facial acupressure session.

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture, sometimes referred to as "acupuncture facelift," is a wonderful timeless beauty technique used by the Chinese since the Sung Dynasty (960-1279AD). In Chinese, it is called "Me Rong Zhen" or "Mei Zhen." Cosmetic acupuncture was performed on the Empress and Emperor's concubines. Today, it is an effective non-surgical yet painless way to lessen the appearance of fine lines as well as deeper wrinkles. According to Chinese medicine, it improves circulation of Qi and blood and stimulates the body's natural anti-aging powers.

The International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture reported in a recent study of 300 people, 270 perceived a marked decrease of facial wrinkles after just one treatment. Their skin felt firmer to the touch and elasticity was improved.

A complete course of treatment is 10 sessions, twice a week, over a 5 week period. Visible improvements are usually seen at session 6 or 7.  A supplement of herbal remedies, recommended skin care and healthy lifestyle are suggested for optimal results. On average, most patients see a 3 to 5 ( on average ) year difference after a completed course of treatment. Some reported seeing up to a 10 year difference!

Please note that any treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers will need to be announced at the initial treatment session.
